CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois Head Basketball Coach Brad Underwood spoke with the media ahead of his team's trip to Indianapolis for the Final Four.
Three-seed and South Regional Champion Illinois is set to face 2-seed and East Regional Champion UConn Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tip-off is set for 5:09 p.m., followed by Michigan vs. Arizona.
UConn defeated Illinois 74-61 on Nov. 8 at Madison Square Garden. Underwood said both teams are very different from the first matchup.
This is Illinois' first Final Four appearance since 2005, when the Illini lost in the national championship Game to North Carolina. This is also Brad Underwood's first Final Four appearance as a head coach.
