(WAND) -- Three local teams making it to the final two teams in their brackets and that includes Maroa-Forsyth in the 2A bracket.
The Trojans are back in the state finals after knocking off an undefeated ALAH team in the semifinals.
This will back the 10th trip to Normal in 19 years and back to back seasons Maroa is heading north.
Head Coach Josh Jostes said it was an up and down season with injuries and losses but after their back to back losses in the regular season his team is back to playing Maroa football and playing lights out.
Adding playing in tough conference helped they get ready and prepared for post season teams.
The Trojans will face Wilmington Friday around 1 p.m.
