(WAND) --Â Weather cooperating Wednesday for teams to take the field again as the end of the regular season approaching.
Mt. Zion softball hosted Unity in a ranked matchup. The Rockets would jump out to a quick 8-0 lead in the top on the first inning, but the Lady Braves would fight back in the game but ultimately dropped it 12-8 Unity getting the win.Â
And on the baseball diamond, another ranked game as Mahomet-Seymour welcomed Charleston to town. Charleston would take the road in 9-5.Â
