MONTICELLO, Ill. (WAND) -- The Monticello Sages are off to one of their better starts in recent years beginning the season 11-0.
The Sages are currently 14-3 and undefeated in conference play which they don't take lightly.
With a mix of under and upper class man they said having the great start helped build confidence early in the season.
From their three losses this season so far they are learning to take each game one inning at a time and preparing for a tough conference schedule finish with two of the top 4 teams in their conference left to play this season.
