DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Tuesday! It will be a picture-perfect day ahead with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. It will be a little cool in the early morning in the 50s and 60s, but we should be in the 70s by the time we get to about 10 am. Winds will be very calm out of the north as well. Partly cloudy skies will return overnight, but temperatures will again be on the cool side in the upper 50s.
Closer to average temperatures will return for the rest of the week. Isolated storm chances will move in for Wednesday afternoon as temperatures warm up into the low 80s. Overnight lows will be warmer in the 60s for the rest of the week. Another round of scattered storms is expected for Thursday afternoon.
Friday will have the best chance to see widespread rain across much of the area. Humidity will increase as temperatures warm back up into the mid-80s for Friday afternoon. Isolated rain chances will be possible this weekend, but most of the area will stay dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Humidity will be much higher next week as highs in the 90s return.
