DECATUR, IL. (WAND) -We’ve made it halfway through the week, and the weekend is finally back in sight. However, several disturbances are on the way for this weekend that will be bringing in some chilly temperatures for the start of next week.
Pleasant, fall-like weather continues today with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll be breezy with gusty winds picking up as a cold front rolls in. This front will bring temperatures down to the low 30s overnight, but thankfully we can expect winds to calm down this evening as well.
Our next weather pattern will be two lows rolling to the north of our region. Both will bring a few chances for showers, but only light rain is expected for Thursday night whereas showers may be a bit heavier Saturday evening.
