DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Good day, weather watchers! Today’s forecast is brought to you by Mother Nature’s mischievous side. Expect a splash of sunshine, a sprinkle of rain and a dash of confusion.
First up, the sun was out, but it was clearly confused; it is like that friend who shows up to the party in sunglasses and a parka. So, do not forget your shades ... and maybe an umbrella, just in case the sky decides to switch careers and rain again.
Meanwhile, the wind is blowing harder than a toddler in a toy store. Hold onto your hats, folks, or you might find yourself airborne. And if you see your neighbor’s laundry taking a joyride, do not worry, it is just the wind’s latest adventure.
As for the temperature, it is playing peekaboo; hot one moment, cold the next. Keep a jacket and shorts handy, because you never know when Mother Nature will change her mind.
So, stay sunny, or rainy, or windy, and remember: the weather’s just nature’s way of keeping us on our toes and sometimes, giving us a good laugh.
