DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -  As the National Weather Service continues their survey of damage from this past Sunday, the latest tornado total is up to six for our area. That number is double if you take into account the real estate from Peoria to I-64.

The weather continues to cooperate for cleanup, but will be changing very soon. By Wednesday afternoon, higher humidity will begin to trickle into the state with a stay thunderstorm. Additional storms will hamper cleanup efforts later this week. If that weren't enough, high heat and oppressive humidity levels will lend to FeelsLike temperatures in the 100s by next week. Notice the humidity tracker, showing humidity ranges going up and up over the coming days.

No additional tornadoes are expected for the next week, but thunderstorms on their own can still create a problem.

Stay safe and stay weather-aware.
