9/11 ceremony held in Champaign

A ceremony marking the anniversary of September 11, 2001 was held in Champaign Thursday.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - A ceremony was held in Champaign Thursday to mark and remember the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. 

Law enforcement, first responders, city officials, and the public gathered for a ceremony at West Side Park.

"May we never forget the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001," the City posted to Facebook.
