Annual Black Family Wellness Expo to be held in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Tri-County (IL) Chapter of The Links Incorporated, is hosting their Annual Black Family Wellness Expo in Springfield Saturday.

The event is free and will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Union Baptist

Church, 1405 E. Monroe Street, Springfield.

Families are invited to attend. The expo will include health education, screenings, and community resources.

The Black Family Wellness Expo will feature:

• Free health screenings

• Wellness education and preventive care resources

• Information on chronic disease prevention and management

• Mental and behavioral health resources

• Nutrition and fitness guidance

• Community vendors and local service organizations

• A Kids Korner with interactive activities and free book giveaways

The event is open to individuals and families of all ages. Community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and connect with trusted healthcare professionals and local agencies.
