URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign County Fair kicked off this weekend. Despite some rainy weather, fair staff said they are ready for a great week.
County Fair Board Director Terry Lemke said the weather has not stopped visitors from having fun.
He said lots of people have taken advantage of their $30 unlimited ride bracelet on Sunday. That same deal is in effect on Tuesday.
"It's an evening night, so everybody gets off work. Everybody comes out and enjoys the last chance at that time," Lemke said. "But, yeah, Tuesday night is usually a busy night for us."
The unlimited ride deal will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday. The fair will run until next Saturday.
