DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A local church is planning to give away free gas to community members. 

Mosaic City Church will give away $25 worth of gas for the first 80 people to attend its event on March 28. 

The event will be held at Oasis Gas Station, 510 N. Gilbert St. in Danville, starting at 10 a.m. until the first 80 cars are gassed up. 

Church Pastor LeStan Hoskins said, "To celebrate Resurrection Sunday, we are giving away gas to the members of our community, meeting your needs today just as Jesus met your needs on the cross over two thousand years ago."
