DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Operation Obstacle returns for a sixth year to raise awareness of veteran suicide. 

The race will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Workforce Development Institute at Richland Community College in Decatur. 

According to RCC, the welcome ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with the race starting 15 minutes later. 

Check-in and same-day registration will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Operation Obstacle is a timed, two-minute, 20-obstacle course race that intends to bring attention to veteran suicide prevention and mental health.
