CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Get ready for the largest fundraising event for the Habitat for Humanity of the year with, "Raise the Woof."
This is the sixth annual event which raises funds for the Habitat for Humanity with a pet house building competition.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Champaign County ReStore. Organizers invite teams from local businesses, organizations, and community groups to showcase their creativity for a good cause.

All proceeds will go to the Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County.
The Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization helping families achieve the goal of home-ownership through housing programs and counseling. They have helped 133 families since they were founded in 1991.
