SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Get your passport finalized at the Rochester Public Library this weekend.
This Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, agents from the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk's Office will process passport applications at Rochester Public Library.
"The Rochester Library is proud and excited to partner with the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk's Office to make passport sign-ups more accessible to our community," said Adult Programs Coordinator Kendall Tracey.
Applicants must bring the following:
- A certified copy of your birth certificate (no photocopies or the hospital certificate)
- A valid photo ID
- Certified copies of court orders for a name change, custody, or adoption decrees
- Two checks or money orders
- Approved passport photo, or get one there
If you cannot attend on Saturday but still need to finalize your passport, you can do so Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
