DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Santa Claus is visiting multiple parks in Decatur on December 7.
Before returning to the North Pole, the big man makes a pit stop in Decatur by helicopter.
Santa will be at the Midstate Soccer Complex on a Caterpillar truck at 11:00 a.m.
He will then be available at South Shores Park at 11:45 a.m., followed by a stop at Fairview Park at 12:30 p.m., Splash Cove at 1:15 p.m., and finally, the Hickory Point Golf Course at 2:00 p.m. before heading back to the North Pole.
Santa will hand out candy canes and collect letters.
The event is sponsored by the Caterpillar and put on through the Decatur Park District.
