DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Dan Diskey: Men Wear Pink campaign announced the 5th Annual Strike Out Cancer Co-ed Softball Tournament, happening Saturday, May 2.
The tournament will start at 9 a.m. at Rotary Park in Decatur.
The goal is to provide a family-friendly tournament to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and support the fight against breast cancer.
Team registration is $350, with a 2-game guarantee. Attendees will get a full day of softball, plus a 50/50 drawing and concessions, all benefiting the campaign.
Rockwell Coffee Company will be onsite from 9am – 1pm, serving coffee and Do Good Donuts for players and spectators.
“Everyone has a story with breast cancer,” said Dan Diskey, campaign chair. “Until every story is a victory, I’ll continue to fight. This tournament is one way we rally together to support the women in our lives and make a real impact.”
Diskey, who is entering his seventh Men Wear Pink campaign, has raised over $154,000 since 2020, including $30,866 in 2025, and has been the number one campaign in downstate Illinois for six consecutive years. Every dollar raised through the tournament will help fund breast cancer research, awareness, and patient support.
