NEOGA, Ill. (WAND) — Neoga School District students and staff got to enjoy a performance from one of their own on Friday.

Allie Keck, a 2012 graduate of Neoga H.S. and contestant on season 23 of "The Voice," performed for the entire school district.

Media Studies students surprised Keck with a video highlighting her time on the show as well as clips from her former teachers reflecting on her time in high school. Neoga Jr-Sr High Principal Jennifer Bridges said the students loved Allie's visit and that the elementary kids were even more excited as Allie's mom, Leah, works at Neoga Elementary.
