DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Join the WAND News crew as they get a sneak peek inside Izabella's Curse, which they share with you in the video above.
The haunted house, Izabella's Curse, tells the spooky story of a young girl who tries to figure out what is real and what is not inside her head. Organizers say the haunts really get to some people, "You'll eventually work your way out of the house into a different part of the story. Two people have already peed their pants this season."
The screams are in full swing with the crew as Caryn Eisert tries to give up Chief Meteorologist Jim Kosek as bait... ending with Ben Machi running for his life.
We kid, everyone is safe, but we had to have some fun with Halloween.
The haunted house is run by volunteers, from builders to costume artists to actors. "It's really a pleasure to volunteer here. People get to express their creativity, whether it be building, designing, being an actor, or being someone who does costumes and makeup."
Izabella's Curse is open from 7-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday off 2121 S. Imboden Court in Decatur. Tickets are $15 a person but $28 for their fast pass.
