DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — October is here, and the local favorite, "Boo the Zoo" is returning. Tickets are now up for grabs for Scovill Zoo's family-friendly Halloween event.

 

Admission for those wanting treats is $6.50, and $5.50 without.

Boo at the Zoo will take place a little later this month: Oct. 17-20, 24-27, 29 and 30.

 

The Zoo will also hold a sensory-friendly hour on Oct. 19 and 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. During these hours, the carousel and trains will be quieter, and fewer people will be in the Zoo.
