DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Salvation Army has temporarily closed the Thrift Store at 2901 N Water Street in Decatur.
The Salvation Army is re-setting the store with the goal of re-opening within 45 days or sooner. The store will be re-merchandised with a fresh look and service.
New exterior signage will be featured.
An announcement for the new launch date will be made at a later date.Â
The store is still receiving donations from 10-2 Monday-Friday. They hope to extend those hours within the next few weeks.
Major Atkins of The Salvation Army Thrift Store staff said, "We are grateful for our shoppers' and donors' patience, and we are looking forward to creating a better store to serve Decatur and surrounding communities."
