CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - A 13-year-old is in critical condition, and a 15-year-old was injured in a shooting in Champaign Sunday night. 

Champaign police were called to the 200 block of Burr Oak Ct. at 10:19 p.m. for a report of a shooting. 

Officers found a 13-year-old with life-threatening gunshot wounds. The teen was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition. 

A 15-year-old victim was shot in the hand and was also taken to the hospital. CPD said the 15-year-old had been released from the hospital as of Monday afternoon.

Police said their investigation shows multiple people were involved in a fight before the shooting took place. The group ran away before officers arrived. 

One building and a vehicle were also damaged in the shooting. 

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information or security video that may show the shooting is asked to call Champaign police or Crime Stoppers at 217-373-8477.
