DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Four people were taken to the hospital, including one with life-threatening injuries, after a crash in Decatur Wednesday morning.Â
The Decatur Police Department said it happened just before noon near the intersection of North Woodford and East Winnetka.Â
Police said a pickup truck made a right turn onto North Woodford Street, and at the same time, a car traveling down the road had to swerve to avoid it.Â
The car lost control and hit a utility pole.Â
Decatur police said the truck driver wasn't hurt.Â
The driver of the car and two passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth passenger, a 34-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.Â
DPD's Fatal Accident Investigation Team was called to investigate.Â
