SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A bomb threat that was made against the Illinois State Library led to it being evacuated Friday morning.Â
A threat was emailed to the library at 9:30 a.m.
Out of an abundance of caution, the library was evacuated, and the building swept for explosive devices.
None were found.
An all clear was issued by SOS police at approximately 11:30, and employees have since returned to work.
