DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A man was hit by a car in north Decatur Thursday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Mound Road and North Water Street.
The Decatur Police Department told WAND News that a car was making a left turn onto East Mound Road.
Decatur police said the driver had a green arrow and was in the middle of making a turn when a man ran in front of the car and got hit.Â
DPD added that the man hit was taken to the hospital and remains there, as of Friday afternoon. There was no update on his condition.Â
One driver was killed, and another was seriously hurt following a rollover crash on Wednesday at the same intersection, near Target and Olive Garden.
