DECATUR, Ill - "The Beat Goes On..." at the 27th annual Decatur Celebration this August 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The massive three day event annually attracts hundreds of thousands of people to the business district of downtown Decatur, Illinois.

The 2012 theme for the Decatur Celebration hints at the festival's focus on nostalgia.

The Dave Matthews Tribute Band

1960s "Blue-Eyed Soul" Artist Mitch Ryder and special guest Michael "Supe" Granda of the Ozark Mountain Devils

Legendary disco group "The Trammps" featuring Earl Young and the monster hit "Disco Inferno"

Christian rap sensation LeCrae with hits "Background," "Just Like You," and "Don't Waste Your Life"

Contemporary Christian group Big Daddy Weave with hits "Love Come to Life" and "Every Time I Breathe"

Gloriana with hits "Wild at Heart" and "(Kissed You) Good Night"

Color Me Badd with hits "I Adore, Mi Amore" and "Sex You Up"

Spin Doctor with hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"

Finally, Billy Ocean will sing hits "Get Outta My Dreams....," "There'll Be Sad Songs, " "and "Caribbean Queen."

The 2012 headliners punctuate a lineup complete with regional bands, show groups, and original acts. There will be over 60 unique food items and a kids' block featuring children's games, shows, and prizes.
