Construction/ Road Closed (C)

UPDATE 10:21 a.m.: Interstate 74 E/B is now open at MP 166 (Mansfield Exit) and at MP 179 (I-57). 

Illinois State Police said traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-74 EB at milepost 172 (Mahomet) and at milepost 179 (I-57) due to extensive cleanup being conducted by emergency crews.  

UPDATE 8:31 a.m.: Illinois State Police are now reporting a crash that will cause I-74 eastbound traffic to be detoured at Mansfield (milepost 166) onto US RT 150.

I-74 EB to Prospect Avenue (MP 180) continues to be closed due to standing water.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - Standing water shut down the ramp between I-57 northbound to I-74 eastbound in Champaign County Monday morning. 

Illinois State Police said there is a large amount of standing water across the eastbound lanes of Interstate 74, just east of Interstate 57 (milepost 179).

The I-57 N/B to I-74 E/B ramp is closed. 

I-74 E/B traffic will be detoured onto US RT 150 at Exit 174 (Prairieview Rd.) so crews can work to clear the drainage structure plug.

Drivers are told to exercise extreme caution and avoid the area if possible.
