EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) — One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Edgar County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Edgar County Coroner's Office, the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Shiloh and Horace-Brocton Roads.
Several emergency crews responded, including medical helicopters.
The coroner's office said the name of the person who died will not be released until the extended family is notified.
It is unclear how many others were involved or injured in the crash.
The accident is still under investigation by the Edgar County Sheriff's Department.
