DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - One person was injured following a morning house fire in Decatur on Thursday.Â
The Decatur Fire Department said it responded around 7 a.m. Jan. 29 to a fire at a two-story home along Bristol Drive.Â
Flames were seen from a rear window on the lower level of the house.Â
DFD stated that the fire was under control shortly after crews arrived.Â
DFD shared that three people were home at the time of the fire, but managed to leave the house. One person had suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.Â
The fire is still under investigation.
