SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Dr. Sameer Vohra, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, will lead a media briefing Friday to provide an update on Illinois' measles outbreak.
The briefing will take place at 10 a.m. at the Sangamon County Health Department in Springfield.
Other public health and healthcare leaders will join Vohra to discuss the status of the outbreak and the importance of immunization in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases.
