(WAND) - The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) needs public input for its 2027 Illinois Housing Blueprint to help guide the future of housing statewide. 

Illinois residents can submit their responses online until July 31 or by attending one of the following community listening sessions:

  • Tuesday, June 16 - Sangamon County Health Department, Springfield, 10 a.m.
  • Wednesday, June 17 - Peoria NEXT Innovation Center, Peoria, 10 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 18 - Koerner Distributor, Effingham, 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 25 - Champaign Public Library, Champaign, 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 8 - Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 14 - Comprehensive Community Solutions, Rockford, 2 p.m.

According to IHDA, the blueprint is done every three to five years to assess housing conditions in Illinois.
