SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes cancelled their 7th game this season on Sunday.

The team said drainage issues in the outfield caused unplayable field issues.

This comes amid the team's battle with the Springfield Park District to transfer stadium control due to a lack of upgrades and repairs. 

"I need to host events to survive," said organizers in a post on the Robin Roberts Stadium Facebook page.
