CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — More ramps are set to open at the I-57/74 interchange Thursday.
According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, the following ramps at the interchange will open on July 23 as part of the ongoing Interstate 57/74 reconstruction project in Champaign:
- I-74 westbound to I-57 southbound
- I-74 eastbound to I-57 southbound
- I-57 southbound to I-74 eastbound
Additionally, the following ramps will close by 6 a.m. on July 24:
- I-57 northbound to I-74 eastbound
- I-57 southbound to I-74 westbound
The new closures are expected to last about four weeks, and detours will be posted.
