URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Urbana has announced funding applications for grants to various public or private not-for-profit agencies will soon open for the upcoming program year.
The program year will run from July 1 to June 30, 2027.Â
According to the City, this grant will help fund programs and services for low-income community members.Â
Urbana said the grant opportunity will focus on the following areas:
- Education
- Employment/job training
- Domestic violence services
- Healthcare
- Food security
- Family support/special needs
- Senior services
- Immigrant services
- Violence prevention
- Youth services
- Housing/homelessness prevention
Applications through Neighborly will open Tuesday, Feb. 3 online.Â
The submission deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
