About $240 million in federal stimulus money is available for low-income home weatherization efforts statewide. If you qualify, you can get weather-stripping and caulking, insulation for attics and walls, furnace work, repairing windows and doors, even replacing windows if needed.
You are eligible if:
- You are a single person making $21,660 or less.
- A family of two making $29,140 or less.
- A family of three making $36,620 or less.
- A family of four making $44,100 or less.
