CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — A crash with multiple vehicles has closed portions of Interstate 57 southbound south of Champaign.
Illinois State Police said the crash happened around 6:15 a.m. and that the scene was still active as of 10:15 a.m. Southbound lanes are closed and traffic is being rerouted to Monticello road.
Drivers should find alternate routes if possible.
