SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND)- Woodward Communications Inc. has officially acquired 7 radio station brands from Neuhoff Media in Springfield and Bloomington, Illinois.
The sale was completed on Tuesday, October 1.
The acquired brands align with WCI’s focus on local community media properties serving niche and lifestyle audiences in specific market sizes.
The additions in Springfield include country music station 104.5 WFMB, Sports Radio 92.3FM and 1450AM, adult contemporary station 99-7 The Mix, adult hits station 96.7 BOB FM, and Channel1450.
In Bloomington, WCI adds Rock 96.7, adult contemporary NOW 100.7, and BOB FM 97.9.
WCI President/CEO Tom Woodward states, “ We are pleased to announce that today we successfully consummated the acquisition of Neuhoff Media's radio stations and brands based in Springfield and Bloomington, IL.
