Significant snow was predicted for Massachusetts, where the New England Patriots were taking on the Houston Texans. In Chicago, where the Bears were welcoming the Los Angeles Rams, predictions called for frigid temperatures. Parts of the upper Midwest faced blizzard conditions with snow falling and significant wind gusts.
