(WAND) - The 2025-26 IHSA athletics calendar is officially in the books. From the start of the first cross country race in the fall to the last out of the baseball state championship in the spring, student-athletes from across the area delivered against the best Illinois has to offer.

From across WAND's viewing area, 18 different schools earned a total of 29 team trophies at state competition. In addition, dozens of competitors earned individual state achievements in various sports.

The most decorated program in the past academic and athletic calendar was Glenwood, which earned a school record of five state trophies over the course of the year.
