MacArthur track to be named after legendary coach Bill Harbeck

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The MacArthur Football field is not the only thing getting a facelift this summer.

The track is also being redone, and it will have a new name. The Bill Harbeck Track Complex. 

Harbeck coached track for more than 50 years, most of them coming at MacArthur. 

The coaching legend passed away last month. 

Decatur Public Schools unanimously approved naming MacArthur's track after Harbeck.
