DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- MacArthur grad ShawnTrez Spates announced via Twitter he will be going to Western Illinois.
This will be the fourth college stop for Spates after spending time at Southern Illinois, Lindenwood and Southeastern.
Spates is a Generals legend and last season with the Lions had 35 tackles, three interceptions and eight passes defended.
