Back to wintry conditions this weekend

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Saturday! We are back to another round of wet weather, but this time we’re mixing in some wintry conditions.

We’ll start the day with rain that may transition to snow for areas west of I-55. By midday, we’ll be back to mainly dry and skies will clear for early afternoon sunshine. Temperatures will warm to the low 40s.

Tonight, a few more isolated snow showers are expected to develop, supported by a secondary wave behind the initial front and daytime heating. We may even hang onto a few stray snowflakes overnight, but by tomorrow morning, we’ll be back to dry and mostly sunny.
