DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Warm and dry weather sticks around for a couple more days before much-needed rain arrives this weekend.
Skies will become mostly sunny by this afternoon with highs around 80°. Clouds will return Friday, but highs again will be near 80°.
A cold front Saturday will bring showers and storms and a level one (out of five) threat for severe weather.
Beneficial rain is expected with several hometowns possibly picking up an inch. Thunderstorms could enhance those totals for some.

It'll also become rather windy, especially Sunday with highs only in the 60s and winds reaching 40 mph.
More rain is possible early next week.
