With spotty storms wrapping up this evening, a cold front pushes through ushering in cooler air to start the weekend.

Plenty of sunshine remains in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, but temperatures are not expected to return into the 80's until early next week.

With the exception of Saturday's highs being in the mid 60's, every other day in the forecast looks to be above our average high of 67°.

Central Illinois looks to remain in a warm weather trend through much of next week, however, WAND Meteorologists are keeping tabs on possible storm development come Tuesday as a cold front slides across the Midwest.
