DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Summer is not over yet and we're definitely going to feel that over the next seven days.
After a pleasant high of 73° Sunday in Decatur, temperatures have been warming each day and that trend continues into the weekend.
Highs today and tomorrow will be around 90° with low-to-mid-90s Saturday through Tuesday. Once you add in the humidity, it'll feel closer to 100°.
Models, at least, hint at some scattered showers and storms beginning Saturday into early next week.
However, drought conditions will intensify quickly across Illinois with the combination of hot temperatures and the lack of organized rainfall.
