Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
Who says you can't have dessert first? Celebrate Ice Cream for Breakfast at the Martens Center Saturday morning. This event is free, and no registration is required to enjoy a sweet start to your day.Â

Galentine's DayÂ
Celebrate Galentine's Day at Bloom Wine Bar & Florals with women-owned vendor pop-ups, wine tastings, giveaways, drink specials, fresh flower sales and more.Â

Black History NightsÂ
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is hosting Black History Nights at the Old State Capitol in recognition of Black History Month. This week's program is on Illinois Black soldiers and will be free to the public.Â
When: Saturday, Feb. 7, presentations at 5 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Where: Old State Capitol, Downtown Springfield
Allerton Mansion tour
Take a walk through history inside Robert Allerton's 1900s-era mansion this Sunday at the Allerton Park & Retreat Center. Tours will mainly cover the first floor of the home, and are $15 per person.Â
When: Sunday, Feb. 8, 2-3 p.m.

Super Bowl watch partyÂ
Even if you're not a fan of the Patriots or Seahawks, you can still rep your team colors with pride during a Super Bowl watch party at the Decatur Conference Center and Hotel.Â
