CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Aetna hosted a Summer Bash Health and Resource Fair on Saturday.

It happened from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Champaign County Christian Health Center.

Attendees got a chance to learn about different health resources through local organizations and vendors.

Among the festivities were free health screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, BMI, and HIV screens. There was also a kids activity zone, free giveaways and resources for well-being and family support. 

Event coordinators said events like this can help create a healthier community.
