DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - ADM is set to invest $103 million in improvements to its Decatur facilities.Â
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce announced the investment on Monday.Â
According to the Office of the Governor, ADM's investment will create 50 new full-time jobs and keep over 1,000 present full-time jobs.Â
The company’s investment is being supported through the Illinois EDGE program, which provides incentives to companies that expand operations and create jobs in Illinois.
Pritzker said the upgrades will strengthen Decatur’s role as a global leader in agriculture and manufacturing.
"We're helping Illinois job creators expand and invest in our state, from food processing to biofuels, advanced manufacturing to clean energy, quantum computing to life sciences. I couldn't be prouder that ADM is helping to drive innovation and move Illinois forward," Pritzker said.Â
