CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — A home explosion is under investigation in Champaign Sunday.
It happened at a home in the 2700 block of Judith Drive just after 12 p.m.
The Champaign Fire Department said crews responded to a report from a neighbor that a single-story home exploded and was on fire. When they arrived, firefighters found the home had fully collapsed and was on fire.
According to the department, two other homes were also damaged from the explosion.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the explosion. The department said crews believe nobody was home at the time of the explosion.
