Animal Protective League to host annual Upscale Collectible Sale in April

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Helping pets in need: the Animal Protective League (APL) will host its annual Upscale Collectible Sale in April.

The event will take place from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25, and from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 26, at 3329 S. Veterans Parkway in Springfield.

APL said shoppers can find items like furniture, tools, pet supplies, sporting goods, jewelry and more. There will also be a silent auction, bake sale and various APL-branded items for sale.

Attendees can meet dogs and cats up for adoption from noon to 4 p.m. on April 24 at the APL mobile adoption unit.

According to APL's website, drop-off times will be from noon to 7 p.m. on April 18, 19, 20 and 21.

All proceeds from the sale will go towards the APL's mission.
